Find and set up a powerful, customizable, easy to use ERP and CRM solution in less than 3 months.
IPSO Tarım A.Ş. was looking for a complete ERP and CRM solution that could be up and running in less than 3 months. They aimed to start their operations on September 1st, 2020 and began their software selection in late spring. IPSO Tarım A.Ş. was looking for a powerful, customizable, easy to understand, easy to set-up, and easy to develop solution for their company, which works with sub-dealers as well as with full-owned outlets targeting both B2B and B2C customers. After their detailed research, they decided to choose Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

SOLUTION

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central for a turn-key cloud based solution
The BC solution adoption started in mid of June, and they completed the project Phase I by the 1st of September. By then, their ERP system was ready to manage stocks, to make shipments and to invoice with standard features. IPSO Tarım A.Ş. then continued their project with Phase II and III for enhancement and customization for business. Being a fully customizable ERP solution makes Business Central stronger in comparison than the other solutions on the market. Moreover, IPSO Tarım A.Ş. could achieve this without even touching their infrastructure and could easily adopt new features which were released by Microsoft and implement them into their system. Finally, worth mentioning is cost. Cost came second in their priority list, due to time constraints, but they were also considering the cost of the solution in order to make a wise decision. There was no hardware investment needed. This Business Central is a subscription-based solution, and they could add/remove licences from their environment whenever they wanted.

IPSO Tarım A.Ş. decided to use CRM, and CRM Portal and started to connect and manage their B2B customers. Now, they are working on the portal without any problem. B2B customers can see their prices, can create orders, service tickets, and communicate with them 24/7.

A cloud-based solution allowed IPSO Tarım A.Ş. to save time and money not being bound to purchase hardware, line server, router etc. Moreover, it was impossible to find a turn-key office, with an equipped server room, in less than two months. This situation made the choice of a cloud-based ERP a compelling one.

In the new world situation with pandemic, systems should be accessible anywhere from any devices. IPSO Tarım A.Ş. needed seamless reporting, using powerful office tools fully integrated with ERP system. Business Central greatly stood out as compared to competitors. Any user who had access to configuration package module, could easily import/export data from the Business Central tables. This was really important for data migration in a very strict time. IPSO Tarım A.Ş. migrated 20K item cards, vendors, customers, price lists (40k), and chart of accounts in just one working day. This really enabled their process to go-live super-fast. One another advantage of BC was web services features. Since they work with sub-dealers (B2B), they needed to show and get data from BC or to BC. The next step for their project is to make enhancements on the CRM portal for their B2B business, to implement service solutions into their CRM environment, to use Power BI for live performance reporting, dashboard for team management, especially for their own outlets. IPSO Tarım A.Ş. is planning to create canvas-based mobiles apps which connected to BC and CRM for their team to collect the real-time data from the field. In the near future, they are also looking for an HR solution. their plan is to grow in Turkey fast, to reach end-customers. While working so hard to achieve our goal, IPSO Tarım A.Ş. also want to manage, monitor, and measure every bit of data with very powerful tools like Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions.
